Verse: We crossed the bridge between But I can't yet tell you what it means Language, sayings like a tide Still washing over the mind A transference of being between our eyes I look at you look at me Instantly I realize I realize Chorus: All of a sudden we were Never the same the same In an instant oh how Everything changed everything Verse: We sought and traveled the face of the highest way Unto the pinnacle The sons grand, raw, on display Unveiled as luminous A fearsome form of light shines So up and on to the next roads In pursuit of the life The life (Chorus) Never the same Never the same We were (Chorus)

Verse: So I move from frame to frame Try to navigate this name The heart is abounding It's all so much for this skin of mine But you make anew to match the times (Chorus) A death precedes a life precedes a death a crossing over Turning in your finished quest you race this life to find the gate You leave the city meet your fate Don't be afraid for this your made You keep it up along the way And you will find that you can stay Refuse refusing living words come clean in droves herds We shed our skin draw out potential scourging existential The sun receives day for its night Renewal by the dark of the light Anew your sight Anew a right (Chorus)

Liftoff 04:21
Verse: A higher plane than the ocean sky Yeah it's far fetched but I dream far I dream wide The heat haze, the sun daze, a much better way than the stir craze Don't you know that a look over a shoulder is sometimes what it takes for us to look forwards Synergize, you pour the times into my eyes Ah I can feel the rise Chorus: Chase the moment Soar on their wings Wind and dreams surround The sky is ours Achieving liftoff Verse: Always surrounded by this animation I feel the pull of never ending preservation To stay here is what I want but what I need is to have not what I want Holy hills present themselves The staircase to present wells where the heart swells I bring the sayings along for the ride It's time it's time it's time to fly (Chorus) Lead me high Leave behind Lead me right Hey man where do we go from here Do you think it's far do you think it's near Hey man don't you ever forget that I, well you know (Chorus) I feel so high

Sayings 03:44
Verse: Listen to the sayings out of mouths that are creating The worlds that they are building, see the worlds that they are filling All they make comes out like this Listen to the sayings thrown around like the dust in the wind Mirroring the hearts so full of power they burst from within All you are comes out like this Chorus: What are you made of? What are you saying? All we have comes down to this Verse: Listen to the sayings of the voice while it is still today Don't you wait until tomorrow when they pull you away Every word eternal There was a one that told the sky what it was gonna do And if wanted to, if you wanted to you could too Every word in power Chorus: What are you made of? What are you saying? All we have comes down to Truth is saying Temple man who are you? Speak Say it Chorus: What are you made of? What are you saying? All we have is a breath And all we pay is a death Watch your mouth (what are you saying) Watch your house (what are you saying) Temple man it depends on you (Please tell me what does it mean)

Verse: Let there be light in all my days Let it pierce through the haze Let it come and conquer the night My spirit delights Chorus: Light be That I might see what You would have for me Let's see The shadow in my dissolve into the sun Verse: Let there be a sun that governs the day Let there be one that would show us the way Let there be a dawn in my sky Let it mark the day in my eyes Let's be the sun who finds what is hidden Let's be the moon who reflects what she's given (Chorus) Let's be the sun Let's be the moon (Chorus)

My Father the author wrote a screenplay Framed the worlds that we live in I was born on a silver screen In a pool of windy light I don't know but I swear I've seen this before Must have come through in the night A projector ran on electric dreams A thousand or so In the space of a century We'll see what it shows I don't know but I swear I've seen this before Must have come through in the night Heroes, villains, climactic arcs Playing stories of light and dark Kings and emperors rise and fall The simple men will answer the call It's cinematic The way we breathe It's cinematic The way we move It's cinematic How we win So cinematic How we lose You wonder how it ends Life is a movie An open stage the role on you depends She's cinematic The way she breathes She's cinematic The way she moves Cinematic The way we say Cinematic Our farewell

Urgency 03:46
Verse: Release has come Born upon a spring rain of blood and love For one and all And now comes the season of realized dreams Cascades ushering in these promises For one and all Energetic, kinetic motion Can't seem to contain this emotion Chorus: Summer salvation Sun liberation Saved in the end Verse: The promise of listening The drops all glistening I feel so whisked away The deepest of greens has taken hold Mystical displays a love untold The road ahead has turned to sky This is the land as promised This is the city found This is the start of our love This is a heart unbound (Chorus)

Latter Days 04:04
Verse: Out from the empire He led me back home No foreign waters No faces of stone These streets of memories A former life of mine It doesn't matter I give it no time because Chorus: I had it Lost it Gained it all And it's a new house We built it Better than gold Verse: We found the old words We read them out loud Completely captured At the sight of the cloud Here's the blueprint We'll rebuild it right Because the silver And the gold is Mine The day we finished The people took their place The crowd divided As we reset our gaze And some remembered How good it had been But I've forgotten I'll never see that again because (Chorus) It's a new house Better than gold

about

Jordon Pletch and Ian Swaby became friends when they were just three years old. They started Adamic in 2013 as a creative outlet for the music they were writing together. At the time, they wrote/demoed 40-some song ideas and grouped them into albums. Their new album, Sayings, is comprised of the best of those songs and a myriad of others that were written along the way. They chose not to record Sayings first, opting to refine their craft and skills by recording their debut album 5th and E, and its follow up, Irregular Pulses. Fusing hard rock, nu-metal, and their pop sensibilities, these songs encompass their musical evolution and tastes of the last several years.

The opening song, "All of a Sudden", starts things off with a bang, letting it be known that Adamic is back after a 4 year silence. The energy carries over into "Anew", before melding into the dynamic "I Wanted the Whole of the World". The album contains plenty of hard hitters like "Stand" and "All in One", along with the more progressive numbers, "Light" and the blistering instrumental "Facial Expressions". New sides of the band are seen for the first time in "Sayings" and "Urgency", both showcasing moments of relaxed power, before building into anthemic choruses. One of the standout songs, "Cinematic", is a genre-bending journey through all the things the pair has learned over the past several years. The song strides in a calm, relaxed way, before reaching a climax, that is, in itself, cinematic.

The blistering pace of the first single, "Liftoff" leads the charge for the release of Sayings, championing the fact that the boys are back, and better than ever. The song's summer-time optimistic melody is a stark contrast from their last release, Irregular Pulses, but still manages to maintain the intensity.

The album has guest spots from a few of the band's friends and family, adding unique pieces to the whole. The boys had a blast including them, and you can hear that same excitement in each of the songs.

Musically, this is the most layered Adamic album to date, with plenty to dig in to upon repeated listens. The production has also taken a step up, easily standing alongside its hard rock peers.

Jordon and Ian couldn't be more excited to share this new collection of songs, pouring heart and soul into each and every one. They've spent the last two and a half years recording Sayings, and have delivered on all fronts. The album contains a blending of styles and sounds not heard in today's rock music, a welcome departure from the current musical climate.
